The East Kent Railway Trust has been very lucky to be offered the chance to purchase a diesel multiple unit straight from the mainline.
We are raising money to fund this purchase and facilitate its move from its depot to us around late March.
The DMU will be able to give the railway a really reliable piece of equipment that has more seats to help cope with passenger demand on busier days and will secure the long term operation of the railway.
